A student completing 6.034 will be able to:
- Explain and deploy basic models of problem solving and learning
- Explain and benefit from an understanding of what constitutes good knowledge representation
- Develop intelligent systems by assembling together models of problem solving and selecting from a library of architectures
- Extract key ideas from research talks
Desired Outcomes
A student completing 6.034 will:
- Appreciate how AI is used in a wide variety of applied systems
- Appreciate the role of computational models in understanding human intelligence
- Make themselves smarter by exploiting experimental research in human problem solving
