A student completing 6.034 will be able to:

• Explain and deploy basic models of problem solving and learning
• Explain and benefit from an understanding of what constitutes good knowledge representation
• Develop intelligent systems by assembling together models of problem solving and selecting from a library of architectures
• Extract key ideas from research talks

Desired Outcomes

A student completing 6.034 will:

• Appreciate how AI is used in a wide variety of applied systems
• Appreciate the role of computational models in understanding human intelligence
• Make themselves smarter by exploiting experimental research in human problem solving
